Many people spend most of their lives in one relatively small space.  Most of what they know about the world comes from media, instead of experiencing it firsthand.  Sure, you can learn a lot about the world and everything in it on the internet, but there is nothing like seeing what you’re interested in for real and in person.

If you love fashion, wouldn’t it be amazing to go to some of the biggest fashion centers in the world and see for yourself what it’s really like?  Can you imagine how awesome a trip to Milan would be?  What about all of that awesome Valencia Fashion?  If you never really thought much about Spain when it comes to fashion, you are really missing out on something special.  If you are a student of fashion then you definitely want to hit all of the major cities associated haute couture at least once in your lifetime.

Whether you are an art student in college or just consider yourself a student of are in life, there are dozens of cities around the world that house amazing collections that you must see.  Sure, everyone knows about the art in Paris, but do you know about all of the Vienna Art that you can visit while in Austria?  Seeing a famous piece up close and personal beats the pictures on the internet hands down every time, no matter what kind of art it is or what city in the world it resides.  Your appreciation and understanding of art will continue to deepen every time you take the time to stand in front of a piece and take it all in with your own two eyes.

Exposure to different architecture and interior design is just another benefit of actually going to different cities around the world as opposed to just learning about them on the internet or in documentaries.  You could see pictures of Zurich design in books or on websites, but you will never really get the full effect until you’ve seen it in person.  When you see design in different parts of the world it can really open up your eyes to all the possibilities available to you in your own life and private space.

It is a big world out there and most of us will never have the time and opportunity to see everything we want to see.  But if you start planning and booking a trip now, you will at least be on your way to checking some of those place off your must see list.  And who knows?  If you get moving right now, you just might be able to fit it all in during your one lifetime and that will certainly make for one amazing lifetime.
